Take part in creating a “Field of Poppies” to commemorate this ANZAC Day by following these simple steps.
You will need:
Printed template (download here) or if you have theme in the craft box, you could use red card, paper and even crepe paper.
Red text or colouring pencil (you may need a black text or pencil if you have traced the template)
Glue stick or stapler
If you need more poppies, here is another template full of poppies! (download here)
Step 1 Print, copy or trace the template below. Colour your poppy petals (A) red and cut out.
Alternatively you could cut the petals from red paper, card or crepe paper.
Step 2 Cut out center of poppy (B) and small center of poppy (C). Cut along white lines on (B), once finished, bend up to create a fringe.
By now you should have three pieces. The petals, large centre of the poppy and a small centre of the poppy. Grab your glue or a stapler for the next step.
Step 3 Place (B) on center of (A) followed by (C). Use glue or a staple to secure.
Step 4 Display your poppy proudly or Repeat until you have your very own “Field of Poppies”.
SOOOO the time has come to share our exciting news.
It is with great excitement tinged with a little nervousness I announce that my little family has been given an amazing opportunity to relocate to Melbourne early next year. My ever supportive husband has always been there for me, pushing me to realise my dreams and now the time has come for me to do the same for him.
This is not by any means the end of Pink Images but the beginning of an exciting new chapter! Onwards & Upwards!
It just means that I will no longer be based on the Gold Coast but will instead be travelling between Melbourne and the Gold Coast / Brisbane on a regular basis.
Our exciting family adventure will in no way affect any of my current clients. I am truly honoured that you have chosen me to capture your precious memories and couldn’t imagine not being there for you. I have already started booking flights and organising accommodation and transport for dates next year. I am extremely lucky to have lots of family and friends on the Gold Coast offering their support.
Currently I am already fully booked for the rest of the year and although I would love to I am unable to fit in any more sessions before Christmas. I am currently organising my calendar for next year and will be fitting in lots of portrait sessions on my visits home. Or, maybe, you could come visit me! I can’t wait to get out and explore Melbourne with my camera!
I’d also like to take this opportunity to THANK each and everyone of you, for your amazing love and support over the past few years. I am truly lucky to have met so many of you and now call you friends.
I have so many things I want to say but for now thats my exciting news (in novel form). Stay tuned for lots more photos and updates over the next few months.
Keep Smiling! B xoRead More
